Brook Lopez, who sat the last two games with a mild strain in his right foot, was evaluated by Dr. Martin O’Malley and Dr. Riley Williams III today and listed as day to day. A precautionary MRI on Lopez’s foot was negative, meaning there’s no serious damage to the foot.
O’Malley, a foot specialist, and Williams III, the team’s official orthopedist, were the two doctors that inserted a screw into Lopez’s foot last season when he underwent his fifth metatarsal surgery.
The Brooklyn Nets play next tomorrow night, at Barclays Center against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
