via Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports:
For Brooklyn, Lionel Hollins and Indiana assistant Brian Shaw are primary focuses of search, sources tell Y! Shaw could be strongest.

Wojnarowski later added that the Nets have yet to show any inclination to meet with Hollins at this time, which would seem to contradict his earlier report. Wheeeee!
We’ve spoken at length both about Brian Shaw and Lionel Hollins in this space, so we’ll focus more on the report, which doesn’t eliminate other candidates but does note the team’s focus. There were reports earlier in the offseason that the Nets were interested in these two plus former Milwaukee Bucks coach Scott Skiles, but interest in Skiles has apparently waned.
Earlier this week it was reported that the Nets made preliminary contact with Jeff Van Gundy.
Shaw is currently under contract with the Indiana Pacers and won’t hold any interviews until their playoff series ends. Hollins has been given permission by the Memphis Grizzlies (who have him under contract until June 30) to speak with other teams.
