Despite earlier reports that the Brooklyn Nets have decided on recent NBA retiree Jason Kidd as a head coach with a three-year contract, the team will proceed with interviewing Indiana Pacers associate head coach Brian Shaw about their head coaching vacancy today. The Nets flew Shaw in by private jet to Brooklyn last night for today’s interview.
NetsDaily reports that the interview began at 11:00 AM today:
Well-placed league source tells NetsDaily Kidd is “not a done deal,” that the Nets are meeting with Brian Shaw at 11 a.m. today.
