In a must-win game on the last day of the regular season, Bojan Bogdanovic stepped up for the Nets in a huge way. After a up-and-down three quarters sprinkled with lackluster play from the entire team, the Nets took over in the fourth quarter sparked by good defense and sharpshooting. But make no doubt of it, Bo Jesus was the star.
In 34 minutes, the rookie Bogdanovic shot 12-for-17, including 4-for-8 from three-point range en route to a career-high 28 points. Bogdanovic’s shooting led the Nets to victory when a loss would’ve eliminated them for good, and a Pacers loss later that night sealed it: the Nets are in the playoffs. Big night for Big Shot Bojan.
