- Michael Lee of the Washington Post is reporting that Andray Blatche’s agent, Andy Miller, has confirmed Blatche will indeed sign with the Nets sometime next week. Blatche chose the Nets over the Miami Heat in hopes of seeing more playing time, as the Nets plan to use Blatche at both the four and five spot.

- ESPN The Magazine came out with their Ultimate Team Rankings for 2012 and the Brooklyn Nets came in at #88, up 12 spots from their 2011 ranking.
- The Brooklyn Nets will be unveiling their much anticipated new uniforms on September 28th, but they are not the only team in NY to debut new duds this season. The Knicks showed off their “new” uniforms to the public, although rather than a complete overhaul, the Knicks made mostly minor edits to their current product.

- Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo tweeted last night that the Brooklyn Nets plan to workout veterans Dominic McGuire and Josh Childress.
