Brooklyn Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko will miss the second half of the team’s back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans with a sprained left ankle, Jason Kidd announced to reporters before the team’s 8:00 P.M. game.
Kirilenko sprained the ankle in the second quarter of the team’s overtime victory against the Dallas Mavericks Sunday night, and did not return.
Earlier in the season, Kirilenko suffered a sprain to his right ankle, along with issues with his back and calf.
Kirilenko has averaged 5.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 18.4 minutes per game this season. He has played in 37 of a possible 68 games.
