Brooklyn Nets backup center Andray Blatche will miss the next four games with “personal reasons,” Nets head coach Jason Kidd announced before Friday’s home game against the Milwaukee Wizards.
Blatche is not with the team Friday night and will not travel on their three-game road trip, marking his earliest return as January 4th against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Kidd would not specify Blatche’s reasons for being away from the team.
Blatche was the only who played in all 117 games (including postseason) in Brooklyn Nets history. In 28 games this season (5 starts), Blatche averaged 11.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in 23 minutes per game, with a player efficiency rating of 18.0.
