Jorge Gutierrez has been fined $15,000 by the league for his flagrant-2 foul on Cody Zeller in the fourth quarter of the team’s overtime loss to the Charlotte Bobcats, the league announced today.

The Nets signed Gutierrez through the rest of the year with an option for next year earlier today, and he’ll need that money: his two ten-day contracts earned him around $100,000 before taxes.
