Well That Was Bad: Nuggets 109, Nets 87 (Game Grades)

Deron Williams POINT GUARD

Any chance he can get some more PRP treatment, ASAP?

Gerald Wallace SMALL FORWARD

I saw he hit a three-pointer from above the corner in the first half. Did he play at all other than that?

Brook Lopez CENTER

Ugh… This was bad. Just really bad. Couldn’t seem to find his touch inside and got burned on pick-and-rolls and by Koufos inside. Nets pick-and-roll coverage is predetermined by matchup, but Lopez’s coverage seemed to be predetermined by his own lethargy.

Andray Blatche POWER FORWARD

Definitely outplayed Lopez tonight: had some nice plays that kept the game within striking distance in the fourth quarter, including one shooting guard-esque crossover and stepback jumper.

Keith Bogans SHOOTING GUARD

Awful.

MarShon Brooks SHOOTING GUARD

Shot poorly but didn’t think he had a poor overall game, at least compared to his teammates.

Reggie Evans POWER FORWARD

For the second straight game, Evans was the team’s best overall player. The difference? The Blazers aren’t the Nuggets.

Tyshawn Taylor POINT GUARD

Was forced in early due to foul trouble to C.J. Watson and didn’t do anything to make it seem like he should stick.
