Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez suffered a devastating injury in the fourth quarter of Friday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, fracturing the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot. This play in the fourth quarter is believed to be the play where Lopez hurt the foot, landing awkwardly after a hit from 76ers forward Evan Turner and rubbing the bone on his right foot.

After fracturing the foot, Lopez played the remainder of the quarter and all of overtime. But that will probably be the last minutes he sees all year: though they’re waiting on a consultation with team doctors, the Nets believe that Lopez will not play for the rest of the season.
