Pre-Game Open Thread: Nets-Pacers, 7:30 P.M.

What’s that old adage? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame me, fool me three times, shame on the Nets, fool me four times, shame on Billy King? Something like that? No?

Ok.

Either way, the Nets play a Pacers team tonight that has beaten them already three different times this season. And, with the playoffs now all but out of sight for the Nets, they will look to play the role of the spoiler, or the tanker, depending on who you ask.

Things to look for:

  • The continued integration of Gerald Wallace into the lineup and how he (may) mesh into the long-term plans.
  • The Pacers’ wings Paul George and Danny Granger who last time chewed the Nets up and spit them out.
  • The continued improvement of Jordan Williams, who has been emerging lately.
  • Jordan Farmar and Anthony Morrow out, so bench scoring may be hard to come by.
