If anyone has the ability to whip round balls one-handed with precision and speed, it’s Brooklyn Nets guard Deron Williams. So hopefully you’ll be on his team when you play dodgeball. Williams, in conjunction with his Point of Hope Foundation charity, will host DODGE BARRAGE 2013: a celebrity dodgeball tournament this Thursday at Basketball City in Manhattan.

Deron Williams will host the first annual Dodge Barrage at the all new Basketball City in NYC.
The Brooklyn Nets star point guard’s signature fundraising event will feature a round-robin style celebrity dodgeball tournament including some of the world’s best dodgeball players along with corporate teams, celebrities and special guests.

There also will be a live auction a high-end raffle and an exclusive VIP after-party. The event will attract corporate sponsors, and VIPs and media outlets, as well as local and national celebrities and athletes.

Games start at noon Thursday. To play, you need a team of 10 players. 18 or older, no gender requirement. $25 a head (so $250 per team). The top 4 teams in the non-celebrity division advance to the celebrity division at 4 P.M.
