Billy King's had a bit of a rough tenure in New Jersey. He spent countless nights orchestrating a Carmelo Anthony trade, only to watch it fall apart as a player's request went through. Then, he spent countless nights orchestrating a Dwight Howard trade, only to watch it fall apart as a player's request fluctuated four times in a day. Erstwhile, he's made small, impactful moves, some of which have worked, but most of which haven't due to circumstances outside his control.
One particular Nets fan, photographed by Nets are Scorching reader Alexander Young, showed his displeasure for Billy King in a unique and tasteful way.
There's just so much to love about a fan pulling out my favorite trick when I was a third-grader on one of the most influential men in the world of sports business. Mostly that King is stoically distracted, completely blind to the toddler attack waged on the back of his head.
Thanks again to Alex for the photo.
