According to Tim Bontemps of the New York Post, no members of the Brooklyn Nets made the Eastern Conference All-Star team as a reserve. The Nets rank third in the Eastern Conference with a 26-16 record.
The biggest snub on this list is Brook Lopez; in 35 games, Lopez has averaged 18.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks in 29.4 minutes per game on 52.1% shooting from the field. The team is 9.1 points per 100 possessions with him on the court, and his 25.4 PER ranks fourth overall in the league, behind LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Chris Paul. The Nets are 24-11 when Lopez plays and 2-5 when he sits.

No Nets also means no Deron Williams and no Joe Johnson, both players having on-the-fence All-Star seasons. Johnson was more likely to make the team because of the East’s lack of wing depth, and Williams was facing off against multiple point guards having excellent seasons. Kyrie Irving and Jrue Holiday were the Eastern Conference point guard reserves.
