The Wizards most recently dropped a contest to the Minnesota Timberwolves 87-82, but are 8-5 in their last 13 games, including victories over the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, and yes, a laugher over the Brooklyn Nets.

Out: No one is officially out for Brooklyn. For Washington, Leandro Barbosa is out for the season after left knee surgery, Cartier Martin is out indefinitely with a left knee injury, and Wizards rookie and leading scorer Bradley Beal is doubtful with a sprained left ankle.

Projected Starters:
Washington Wizards: John Wall, Trevor Ariza, Martell Webster, Emeka Okafor, Nene (43 minutes, +/- +8.7 per 100 possessions)
Brooklyn Nets: Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Reggie Evans, Brook Lopez (403 minutes, +/- -2.1 per 100 possessions)

Advanced Statistics:
Washington Wizards: 96.0 offensive rating (30th), 99.7 defensive rating (7th), 94.39 possessions per game (14th)
Brooklyn Nets: 103.2 offensive rating (12th), 103.3 defensive rating (16th), 90.77 possessions per game (30th)

Rotation: This marks the second game in the “four or five” game stretch in which interim head coach P.J. Carlesimo has planned to introduce a new, Kris Humphries-less rotation. on Wednesday night, Carlesimo inserted Mirza Teletovic as the first big man off the bench in place of Humphries, but didn’t play him much after that first stretch. Carlesimo credits the flow of the game for that change — the defense had been “night and day” in the first and second half, and he decided to stick with the rotation that worked as a result. He added that tonight may be different — it all depends on in-game performance.

It would really suck if the Nets lost this one. Similar to Charlotte. That is all.

Go Nets!
