Nets players open up after blowout loss

Nobody said we were on Miami’s level. We aspire to get there. We’re definitely not there with three games in the regular season… We are going to get there one day, but it’s going to take an enormous amount of work. We’ve got to go through some struggles together. I’m really looking forward to seeing how our team is going to bounce back against Orlando.
Avery Johnson

This team shouldn’t be losing by 30 to anybody. But it’s a work in progress. We can all play better. I can definitely play better and take care of the ball better. We can all play better defensively and we all know that. It’s still early in the season. We’re 1-2. It’s not like it’s time to start panicking. We told people it’s going to take some time for us to come together and it’s looking that way still.
Deron Williams

Everyone wants to come out and think it’s going to happen right away, and this and that. That’s not the case with anything in life. We have to work at it.
