March Madness Gets Set To Invade The Barclays Center

The NCAA Tournament field is set and South and East region action will tip off on Friday, March 18th in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. The Barclays Center will host some of the first and second round South and East region games on Friday andSunday, respectively. Friday’s slate of games is split into Session #1 and Session #2. Session #1, which starts at 12:30 p.m. EST and feature two South Region games, is not commanding high prices on the secondary ticket market. Fans hoping to watch a full slate of games will need to buy a separate ticket for Session #2, which starts at 7:10PM EST on Friday evening and features East Region games. Session #3, which will start on Sunday, March 20th at 1:00 p.m. EST, will feature games between Session #1 winners and Session #2 winners. The Barclays Center will feature many exciting games and fans traveling to these games can find great deal and locations for Barclays Center parking.

3/18/16 Session #1 | South Region (First Round Games)  | Get-in: $57

On Friday, in the South Region, the 2nd-seeded Villanova Wildcats (29-5) will square against the 15th-seeded UNC Asheville Bulldogs (22-11) at 12:40 p.m. EST. Villanova won the regular season Big East championship, but lost the Big East championship to the Seton Hall Pirates. UNC Asheville ran through Big South tournament play and bested top seeded Winthrop, 77-68, in the championship game. The winner of this game will square off against the winner of the 7-10 matchup. The 7th seeded Iowa Hawkeyes (21-10) will square off against the 10th-seeded Temple Owls (22-10) at 3:40 p.m. EST. Iowa has lost five of its last six games, but was consensus Top 5 team during the middle of the season. Temple won the American Athletic Conference regular season title, but dropped the conference championship game to the red hot Connecticut Huskies. Victories by Villanova and Temple will set-up a Philadelphia match-up on Sunday. Ticket prices for Session #1 start at just $57.

3/18/16 Session #2 | East Region (First Round Games)  | Get-in: $67

In the East Region, the 3rd-seeded West Virginia Mountaineers (26-8) will square off against the 14th-seeded Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (27-5) at 7:10 p.m. EST. West Virginia is a talented team, but lost the Big 12 Championship game to the No. 1 overall-seeded Kansas Jayhawks. Stephen F. Austin has become a fixture in the NCAA Tournament and went undefeated in Southland Conference play. The winner of this game will face the winner of the 6-11 matchup. The 6th-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish (21-11) will play the winner of the play-in game between the Michigan Wolverines (22-12) and Tulsa Golden Hurricanes (20-11) at9:40 p.m. EST. Michigan and Tulsa will play on Tuesday evening in Dayton, Ohio. Ticket prices for Session #2 start at $67.

3/20/16 Session #3 | East, South Region (Second Round Games)  | Get-in: $100

Session #3 will pit the two winners from Session #1 against each other and the two winners from Session #2 against each other. A potential Philadelphia match-up could be in play if Villanova and Temple both win its opening round game. Earlier this season, Villanova defeated Temple, 83-67. In the East region, fans could watch an intriguing Notre Dame, West Virginia match-up. Ticket prices for Session #3 start at $100.
