LeBron James Gets Called For Rare 5-Second Violation, Kevin Garnett Rips Ball From His Hands

LeBron James was isolated on Nets forward Mirza Teletovic, arguably best known for once laughing at LeBron James, and decided he’d try to go one-on-one.

Except he didn’t really do much of anything, getting called for a rare five-second violation call for not making a basketball play in five seconds. As he argued the call, a gleeful Kevin Garnett ripped the ball from his hands, and started a play in the other direction.

It was a rough quarter for James, who didn’t score and missed a technical foul free throw.
