Kevin Garnett to rest vs. 76ers, Joe Johnson a game-time decision

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Garnett will sit out to rest in Friday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the team announced today. This isn’t a back-to-back situation and the Nets don’t play this weekend, meaning that Garnett will get four full days off between games.

The Nets also announced that shooting guard Joe Johnson is a game-time decision for undisclosed personal reasons. Per reports, he was not with the team during yesterday’s practice.

As expected, Andrei Kirilenko (back) and Jason Terry (knee) will sit out.
