Deep breaths, Max. Time to do some emotional labor for The Brooklyn Game.

In a tweet yesterday, Stefan Bondy noted that Brooklyn Nets 38-year old forward Jerry Stackhouse may re-enter the Nets ever-changing rotation in place of guard MarShon Brooks after interim head coach P.J. Carlesimo made a concerted effort to get the up-and-down Brooks some more playing time.

Stackhouse, or “Stack,” or “OG,” or “double OG,” or “triple OG,” or whatever the Nets players call him these days, has not played since January 26th, and it’s been said that he’s been working himself back into form in order to get ready for the Nets’ playoff push. The veteran has played in just 27 of the Nets’ 65 games this season, cooling off after a hot start: shooting 36.2% from the field and only 32.5% from three.

It is unknown whether this means less time for Brooks, but with the spotty minutes he has received this season, this is likely the case.
