It’s Christmas in May! UniWatch picked up an exclusive look at next year’s NBA Christmas uniforms for NBA teams, including what the Nets would wear: a simple design with cursive lettering, slanted upwards.

A few thoughts:

1) Most of the uniforms have a similar design to the Nets uniform, with a few notable exceptions. The Wizards and Trail Blazers jerseys look great. The Hawks? Well, uh, not so much.

2) The Nets uniform also says “Nets” on the front, rather than “Brooklyn.” Earlier this year, the Nets revealed their first jersey with “Nets” on the front instead of “Brooklyn,” and it seems like that trend is continuing. The Knicks uniform is the only jersey that reads with the city on the front, rather than the team nickname.

3) The cursive font is meant to emulate the writing on a Christmas Card, according to UniWatch.

4) There’s no guarantee the Nets play on Christmas, and barring a drastic change to their roster, it’s unlikely: that date is normally reserved for the league’s top teams, and the Nets don’t project as a force.
