I’m going to do something you’re not supposed to do. I’m going to admit I made a mistake here. We titled this video so, so wrong. It was factual, sure — this is, in fact, Jason Terry’s 5000th assist of his NBA career. That’s a remarkable achievement that no one can take away from him, a club of just 57 people in a world of over six billion. That’s incredible.
But watch the video for two seconds and you don’t think “wow, that’s a wonderful counting achievement for Jason Terry.” You think “OH MY MASON PLUMLEE HOW DID YOU JUST DO THAT!?”
This team wasn’t dunk-oriented — far from it — but this was the dunk of the year.
