Sean Marks has opened his Nets tenure with two buyouts: Andrea Bargnani and Joe Johnson. Sunday, he filled one of those roster spots. The team announced that they have signed guard Sean Kilpatrick from the D-League to a ten-day contract.

Shortly after the announcement, the Nets tweeted a photo of Kilpatrick signing his contract:

Kilpatrick led the D-League in scoring before he was signed, averaging 26.4 points in 38.4 minutes per game on 47.2% shooting, including a 42.6% clip from three-point range. He was named to the D-League’s All-Star team.

This is Kilpatrick’s third call-up to the NBA in his career and his second this season, last doing a ten-day stint with the Denver Nuggets.

Kilpatrick, a 26-year-old Yonkers native, will wear #6, last worn last year by Alan Anderson.
