Our crew at The Brooklyn Game offers their predictions on today’s contest between the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks.

  • Devin Kharpertian: Jason Kidd enters a time warp, exiting both as 2002 New Jersey Nets Kidd and 2013 New York Knicks Kidd, and plays a one-on-one point guard game against HIMSELF. The rim leads the game in scoring.

But seriously, I have a bad feeling about this one. Chandler seems to do his damage against the Nets in pick-and-rolls and the Nets are abhorrent defending screens, even with Garnett in cleaning up after everyone. I think the Knicks win a close, devastating one.
  • Sam Lachow: a loss against the Nets would put them at 10 games under again. I see the Knicks showing up and beating the Nets 98-92.
  • Benjamin Nadeau: They’re going to be (platelet-) rich! Nets 102, Knicks 97.
  • Daniel Soriano: Nets, 98-87. The platelet-rich-plasma injections should work their magic as D-Will ignites the Nets’ offense and KG at center continues to anchor a suddenly stifling defense.
  • Max Weisberg: I’m too scared to do a prediction for this game.
  • Kristian Winfield: The last time these two teams played, the Nets had Lopez, the Knicks didn’t have Chandler and Brooklyn still lost by 30, 113-83. The Nets have won six out of their last seven, and the Knicks have lost three straight, but I just don’t see Brooklyn, shorthanded and all, beating the Knicks whose core of Chandler, Felton and Anthony is finally (seemingly) healthy. Rooting for the Nets, but betting on the Knicks, 109-96.
