Stats: 49 G, 49 GS, 33.1 MPG, 15.0 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 2.6 APG, 0.5 SPG, 0.2 BPG, .438 FG%, .390 3P%, .806% FT%, 13.9 PER

grade-bSeven-Time All-Star Joe Johnson™ endured a lot of flack from fans and players around the league that didn’t feel he warranted a spot, and he didn’t exactly silence those critics with a *cough* lackluster performance at All-Star Weekend.

But those anti-accolades shroud the fact that Johnson’s had a quietly good year. He’s shooting 39 percent from three-point range and leading the Nets in scoring despite a fluctuating nightly role. He’s hit two more game-winning shots to pile on his four from last year. He scored 29 points in a single quarter, and made it look easy.

Has he been a top-tier NBA guard? No. Seven-Time All-Star Joe Johnson™ has disappointed. But Shooting Guard Joe Johnson has been all right.
