Andrrei Kirilenko, Patrick PattersonBrooklyn Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko underwent an MRI today on his sore right calf, and the results came back negative. The forward is officially listed as day-to-day.

Kirilenko has not participated in physical contact in either of the team’s last two practices as he nurses the calf, and is listed as questionable for the team’s Friday night game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 12-year veteran also told The Brooklyn Game Wednesday that his calf pain is in no way connected to his back spasms in 2013, and that his back feels “perfect.” Kirilenko played the first four games of the season before sitting out nearly two months with back spasms he called the “worst of my career.”
