Atlanta Hawks All-Star center Al Horford may sit out Game 2 of the Hawks-Nets series after suffering a finger injury in the fourth quarter of Game 1 Sunday, according to reporters at Hawks shootaround on Monday afternoon.

Horford dislocated his pinky finger on his shooting hand grabbing his tenth rebound with 10:50 left in the game. He returned from the locker room to an ovation from the crowd with a wrap on his hand, and re-entered the game with just under six minutes left, missing two shots.

The Nets outscored the Hawks by six points with Horford on the bench Sunday night, and at least one Nets fan — who happens to be Thaddeus Young’s wife — wouldn’t mind if he sat out.
