What is everyone’s favorite moment as a Nets fan? Mine is from 2002, when the Nets surged in double overtime to put away a pesky Isiah Thomas led Pacers team. The Nets showed that regular season how great Jason Kidd’s teams would be, but after a decade plus of futility, the Neta needed to validate their #1 seed in the east by not becoming the third team in NBA history (at the time) to lose to an 8 seed. The way the Nets fought after Reggie Miller forced overtime with a halfcourt three (after 2 Richard Jefferson misses at the line), was sensational, and paved the way for a trip to the finals.
