CRASH BACK: Gerald Wallace Back In Lineup Tonight

Gerald Wallace Brooklyn Nets

GERALD WALLACE

The Brooklyn Nets announced that Gerald Wallace, who’s missed the past six games with a sprained left ankle, will return to the starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

Wallace injured the ankle in standard Crash Gerald Wallace fashion, on a big chasedown block on Kyle Lowry against the Toronto Raptors, in a game that the Nets were just putting out of reach. The Kings don’t really have a true small forward — they have Travis Outlaw, who any New Jersey Nets fan will tell you is not a true small forward, or professional basketball player — so this is a good game for Wallace to come back and test his ankle and abilities. I imagine he won’t be at full strength and won’t play a full game, but we haven’t heard anything certain about his minutes limit (if any) from Avery Johnson or the Nets.

CRASH BACK!

  1. I’m excited to see what the full lineup can do together. The more they stay healthy and play together, the better they’ll be.
